I live in Somerset Twp. Mi, it is a great area to enjoy everything about fall. We have McCourtie Park which is an historical treasure. It was built in the 30s by Mr. McCourtie who owned a local cement plant. There are several cement bridges which have been carved to represent wood, rope, thatching and trees. The park is ablaze now with fall colors and the crystal clear stream the bridges span are full of floating colored leaves. When you get done exploring the park Flavor Fruit Farms is less than 1/4 mile away. They have music wonderful donuts and cider an on occassion an elephant to ride. There are always wonderful things going on on the weekends in the fall at the farm. If you like a little more adventure there are off road thrills just down US 12 south about 5 miles from the fruit farm. You can bring your off road bike or vehicle and enjoy all the thrills the old stone quary has to offer. There is a lot to do here and fall is always full of wonderful sights and smells and thrills.

I don't know why anyone would move from Michigan. It is one of the most beautiful states in the country. Especially fall, nice cool temps, no bugs, and beautiful color. Mother at her best!!!!
