Although I find it very beautiful it is hard to understand what all the fuss it about. I'm just used to it is all, I grew up going to Grand Marais several times during the summer and seeing the Pictured Rocks. I just can't beleive all the hype it gets! I'm thankful though because that means that society will most likely not want to destroy it for more profitable shopping centers and condos. I am thankful mostly to have grown up around this beauty I’ve lived here all my life which isn’t very long since I am still in my twenties.
