Connie ~ I couldn’t agree with you more, I adore these ads.

Every time they come on the radio here in Chicago I have to stop and listen, they just warm my heart.

I can’t wait for our mid-October visit, we are planning our trip right now on this site.

Tim Allen, huh? I didn’t know, he does a fantastic job and whoever writes the copy does a wonderful job.

East coast native here myself, but living in other parts of Michigan the past 30 years and agree about the Lake Huron shoreline comments. It amazes me how unspoiled the Tawas/Oscoda/Harrisville/Rogers City/Alpena/Cheboygan corridor still remains! However, back to the North Coast ad: I think it does a tremendous job of expressing the relaxation and “warm fuzzy feelings” that can be had all over the state, no matter what region is visited. The music has a Pavlovian effect on me now; all I have to do is hear the first few notes and my eyes begin to mist!

I’m an Ohioan. but many of my summers (and my honeymoon) were spent in Michigan,and I LOVE the Pure Michigan ads………..I hope they go on forever!

PS. Michael is right…..that’s Tim Allen doing the voice-over on all the Pure Michigan ads. (If you weren’t aware, he’s a Detroit native.)

That’s Tim Allen. It’s a great ad campaign…I love all of our Michigan shores. But, technically, isn’t the Lake Superior shoreline the North Coast?

George Glooney sounds so cool. Now we need some ads for the East side of Michigan. From Mackinaw City down to Cheboygan onward to Rogers City and Alpena, Tawas, Harrisville, on and on. Lake Huron has a beautiful shoreline also. There are so many spots to stop and just gaze out onto the Lake. It’s magical in the evening. Sundown at Seagull point is breathtaking.
Take a drive along US 23 and you’ll see what I mean.

I am so blessed to say I live in Boyne Country in Northern Michigan and it is simply breathtaking at every turn…this ad captivated me even though I am here on a daily basis! What a great campaign! We want everyone in the country to know about our beauty here. Keep up the GREAT WORK Pure Michigan…you do an awesome job promoting our great state!!
