in Pure Michigan Ads

We know you loved our ads this year – we loved them too.  As you probably know, though, those weren’t our first ads – we’ve been advertising on TV, the radio, and in print for years.  Take a look at these print ads we dug up:

From 1946:

 Michigan_1946

 From 1947:

Michigan_1947

And from 1957:

Michigan_1957

We’d love to hear what you think of these – leave a comment and let us know!

Those are the pictures to remember of happy days, where people enjoyed life, and not the everyday hustle and bustle of today’s life-style.
Please continue finding them and sharing. Oh Happy Days!

Update the info and run ‘em again! They’d sure be attention grabbing amongst all the slick, photo-heavy travel advertising you see in most publications. And people love the graphic style, there’s a reason people collect National Geographics from the ’30s, ’40s, and ’50s, and it isn’t the articles.
